Arpana House

Arpana House seeks to be a catalyst to end gender discrimination by empowering the people of India to rescue the abandoned and unwanted girls in their land.

India’s culture is replete with gender discrimination. The expectation and pressure for women to give birth to male children is overwhelming. When girls are born, many times they are murdered, abandoned, or simply thrown away.

How You Can Help

Give financially. We are raising money to open the house. Give your time. We need talented people to help us craft and evangelize our message. Give your heart. Pray for India’s girls, encourage our staff, give us your ideas.
